Crime Alert: Shooting Near Granville and Broadway
Loyola Community,
Campus Safety is writing to make you aware of a shooting that occurred near the intersection of Granville and Broadway on Thursday morning at approximately 2:40 a.m.
According to the Chicago Police Department, two non-Loyola affiliated individuals were shot and suffered non-life threatening injuries during the incident. The initial investigation indicates that the shooting is gang related.
Campus Safety wants to take this time to remind everyone that it is imperative that you remain aware of your surroundings at all times. Stay alert and able to recognize behaviors that may be considered suspicious or unsafe.
