Academic Planning
When planning ahead for a career in a healthcare profession, it is important to start your research as early as possible. Anything from classes taken to experiential hours are reviewed by professional schools and it is important to always know what to expect ahead of time. We strongly recommend meeting regularly with a pre-health advisor at least once a semester, but other popular areas of interest for planning applicants are found below!
AP Credit

Course Planning
Students should review their specific major requirements with their assigned FSYA or major advisor. For classes related to your professional school program, please view this page to learn more about common pre-requisites and recommended timelines.
Admissions Tests

Advising
Pre-medical and allied health advisors are available to help you explore your health profession of interest and build a competitive graduate school application. You are also encouraged to work with your other academic advisors to coordinate your academic plans and pre-requisite courses.
FSYA: While students are NOT assigned a specific Pre-Medicine or Allied Health advisor, they ARE assigned a First & Second Year advisor. Your FSYA will help with your course and major related questions for your first two years while at LUC. Arts & Sciences: Students have a decided major in the College of Arts and Sciences will be assigned a CAS major advisor for their third and four years at LUC. You can schedule an appointment with them via their website for questions regarding your major, classes, or degree progress.
