Study Abroad

Expand your view of the world and global health.

There are no boundaries to the opportunities that await you on your global health journey. Continue your nursing education as you experience the beauty, history, and art of Rome. Or, immerse yourself in a new culture while caring for families living in villages throughout Belize.

By participating in Study Abroad and International Immersion programs, you'll:

  • Experience other cultures
  • Learn about different health systems
  • Create global friendships that will last a lifetime

During your sophomore year, you can take your studies abroad for an entire semester at any approved site, including Loyola University Chicago's global campus: the John Felice Rome Center. Or you can choose to travel during the summer or J-Term (winter) sessions.

Contact your assigned academic advisor and the Study Abroad office to learn more.
