The READIs Celebration and Award Ceremony – Thursday, May 16, 2024
Once commencement ends and we have saluted our students’ achievements, it’s time to celebrate all that we, as faculty and staff, have accomplished this academic year to make Loyola University Chicago a place where all Ramblers feel a sense of belonging.
Inspired by the celebratory energy and intentional gratitude that takes place during the Emmys, Tonys, Grammys, and Oscars, we're walking the maroon carpet to introduce Loyola’s version - The READIs! We look forward to honoring and celebrating the outstanding contributions of Ramblers who embody our commitment to Racial Justice, Equity, Accessibility, Diversity, and Inclusive Excellence — values we center in our dedication to fostering an inclusive and equitable campus community.
This year’s celebration will continue recognizing ‘the power of you,’ as a catalyst for change as we hand out the 2024 READIs to our READI Impact Award winners and READI Innovation Fund grantees while also shouting out campus partners who continue bringing this important work to life! Join us to celebrate with friends and colleagues who are building a foundation for the future of this vital work to create a human-centered culture of belonging at Loyola.
We’re excited to announce that our celebration will include a delicious brunch courtesy of a local Black woman-owned business, serving up mouthwatering delights! Feel free to bring along someone who has made Loyola feel like home to you for an extra special celebration together.
