Dear Class of 2024,
Congratulations, Parkinson Graduates! Access to good health is a fundamental human right. You are each called to be society’s next generation of problem-solvers who will improve the health of individuals, communities, and systems of care.

Parkinson Evening of Excellence
Monday, May 6, 2024, 5:00 - 7:00 PM, Cuneo Center 4th Floor, Health Sciences Campus, and virtually on Zoom
Students completing a Master of Public Health and/or Master of Science degree will share their capstone projects, engage in scholarly discourse, and learn from fellow students and faculty. The Evening of Excellence provides an opportunity for students to celebrate their scholarly accomplishments with an interdisciplinary group of faculty and students. This hybrid event is open to all students, faculty and guests of graduating students. Additional information will be available in early April from Devontae Bowman, dbowman3@luc.edu.

The Celebration of the Magis
Tuesday, May 7, 2024, 6:30 - 8:30 PM (Doors open at 6:00 PM), Jo Ann Rooney Hall, Mundelein Center for Fine and Performing Arts
The Parkinson School of Health Sciences and Public Health acknowledges outstanding Exercise Science, Healthcare Administration, and Public Health undergraduate seniors with its annual Celebration of the Magis. Magis is a Latin word meaning "more" or "greater" and is related to the phrase "ad majorem Dei gloriam," the motto of the Society of Jesus and Loyola University Chicago. The event recognizes how honorees are always striving to do better and truly achieve Magis. The Celebration of the Magis recognizes Parkinson undergraduates and their continual drive to learn more and be of service to the greater good. All undergraduate seniors will be honored, and exemplary students will receive several prestigious awards and certificates. The event is open to all Parkinson undergraduate seniors, faculty, staff, and guests of graduating students.
