Ignatian Pedagogy Certificate

The Ignatian Pedagogy (IP) Certificate program is comprised of seminars, discussions and related activities - designed by Loyola educators for Loyola educators - to learn about Ignatian values and pedagogical approaches. Participants will deepen their knowledge, skills, and ability to integrate Ignatian Pedagogy into their teaching and work, while building community with a cohort of colleagues.

Seminar Topics include: history and philosophy of Jesuit education and Ignatian Pedagogy; Ignatian Pedagogy’s intersection with anti-oppressive, feminist, and sustainable teaching approaches; applications of IP to teaching and educational activities in and out of the classroom.

Skill development will include applying aspects of IP to work and teaching, reflecting on your learning about IP individually and in community, and developing ways to continue to enhance your learning about IP.
