Dianna Stencel is a licensed clinical social worker, yoga teacher and mindfulness-based instructor at the Wellness Center. Dianna joined the team in 2002 and is passionate about helping individuals discover that their minds and bodies are a resource for healing, insight and resiliency. An alumnus of Loyola University Chicago, she received her undergraduate degree in psychology and a minor in philosophy. Dianna obtained her Masters in Social Work degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago's Jane Addams College of Social Work. Dianna provides the following services at the Wellness Center; individual therapy, facilitation of mindfulness based groups, out-reach and workshops for Loyola students. Dianna's clinical interests include trauma, anxiety, mind/body connection, identity/culture, and mindfulness. Dianna is a Qualified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacher and trained at the renowned Center for Mindfulness in Massachusetts. She has completed her 200-hour yoga teacher certification and has a certificate in Yoga Informed Psychotherapy from Live Oak in Chicago.
