Missed Appointment Policy

Students must cancel their appointment via TutorTrac or notify the Tutoring Center front desk minimally 24-hours in advance for Success Coach and Peer Tutor appointments. Students can contact the front desk at tutoringcenter@luc.edu or call 773.508.7708.

All students are allotted two unexcused absences of any kind for tutoring and/or Success Coaching.

If a student misses more than two sessions the student will be dropped from their respective tutoring and/or coaching session. They will be required to meet with a Tutoring Center staff member to regain access to services.

This policy is implemented to make sure students are being good stewards of using campus resources and avoid taking up appointment slots that might be able to go to and benefit another student.

Non-Discriminatory Policy

In accordance with the University’s Non-Discrimination Policy (§610) and Bias-Motivated Discrimination (201(3)) within the Community Standards, the Tutoring Center reserves the right to withhold services to students who discriminate or engage in misconduct any person or group of people based on one’s actual or perceived: race, color, national or ethnic origin, ancestry, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, religion, age, military or veteran status, parenting status, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
