Power up your success at college!

Do you want help developing your academic skills?

Do you want to work on organization, time management, notetaking, exam preparation, goal-setting, or other academic skills and executive functioning skills?

Do you want advice on how to develop positive habits that will help you succeed?

Come to Success Coaching!

In a FREE Success Coach meeting over Zoom or in person, you can set goals, identify areas for growth, and create a customized plan for success. Success Coaches will send the student a Zoom link prior to the appointment time.

PLEASE NOTE: Success Coaches are not tutors! If you need subject specific support for a class, please visit the Tutoring Center and see which classes and for when support is offered. If you need assistance editing, proofreading, or revising a paper for a class, please visit the Writing Center.

How to sign up for Success Coaching

NOTE: Graduate students are unable to use Navigate to schedule appointments. If you are a graduate student please email Richard Rowlands at rarnold1@luc.edu to sign up for your Success Coach meeting.

If you have not yet downloaded and registered Navigate, you can do so here.

Accessing Zoom

If students have never used Zoom before, they are encouraged to login to https://luc.zoom.us/ using their LUC UVID and password prior to the session. Then, download the Zoom program (on laptops) or app (on smartphones/tablets).

If the student does not have access to a webcam, microphone, or the internet, the student is encouraged to reach out to their Success Coach and/or Tutoring Center staff (tutoringcenter@luc.edu) for alternative options.

If Zoom is not working, students are encouraged to review the Zoom participant’s guide, call ITS at 773-508-4487, or email ITS at helpdesk@luc.edu.

If the link is not working or the Success Coach is not present at the designated time, please email the Coach or tutoringcenter@luc.edu
