Description: | The student will be introduced to physiologic imaging as practiced with medical isotopes. The primary aims are to demonstrate how organ systems function and can be studied non-invasively to demonstrate pathology. Basic science aspects of radioisotopes and pharmacatives are covered. |
Method of Evaluation: | Students are evaluated based on: 1. Medical knowledge (general); 2. Basic physiology and chemistry; 3. Oral paper presentation; 4. Final examination; 5. Participation in specified department sessions. |
