What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola? 

Seeing my team and student staff thrive in their professional and academic lives brings me immense joy. Additionally, actively participating in and assisting with traditional events on campus is a highlight of my experience. 

What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee? 

Being nominated for the Pedro Arrupe Love Award in DSD this past year stands out as a true highlight. Further returning to the academic world to pursue my MBA at Loyola University Chicago is another significant achievement, and I am proud to become a Rambler alumni in Summer 2024. 

What does Loyola's mission mean to you? 

To me, Loyola's mission is to unite as a community and support each other's success. Further, it is to guide our students to become future community leaders, recognizing and embracing the uniqueness of each individual's journey. Additionally, we are called to be good stewards of our environment. 

What motivates you to succeed each and every day? 

My daily motivation stems from having an exceptional team and knowing I can contribute positively to students' collegiate journeys. Passing down knowledge and life skills to my team and students and living by the motto "Un Día a la Vez" (One Day at a Time) fuels my commitment. 

Tell us how you show your Rambler pride? 

I express my Rambler pride by attending and supporting Rambler athletic team events and actively participating in the cheer tunnel for new student convocations. 

Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you? 

A lesser-known fact about me is that I was a part of the Yelp Elite community, where I enjoyed writing food reviews. I have a passion for trying new cuisines and enjoying that experience.
