What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?

Everyone cares about the mission. Though we each have different roles, different perspectives, and different areas of expertise, we are united in a single purpose of making a difference in the lives of our students.

What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?

For me, it’s the team we’ve assembled. We’ve accomplished so much in a short time—and through COVID. No matter the circumstances, we can count on each other. It's a joy working alongside talented people.

What does Loyola's mission mean to you?

Three words: Seek Joy Together.

What motivates you to succeed each and every day?

What motivates me is the Spirit that called me to Loyola. On Lake Shore Campus is a plaque noting the Promises of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Two lines spoke to me: tepid souls will become fervent; fervent souls shall rise speedily to great perfection. I read those lines prior to my final interview. Still, whenever possible I stop by that spot as a reminder of why I’m here.

Tell us how you show your Rambler pride:

I wear the Loyola scarf! Also have my Sister Jean bobble head prominently displayed at home.

Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you:

Over the past couple of elections I’ve become passionate about working the polls. I’ve regularly been a primary and general election poll worker for the Indiana county in which I live.
