What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
Believing that what we do makes a difference.
What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
This award is pretty sweet, but I think my favorite achievement was co-creating a Thanksgiving celebration with my department. I felt very warm and fuzzy looking around at all my coworkers!
What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
I particularly like Jesuit universities because they teach me to be more Jesus-like in my life. They teach me to be more accepting of people from all walks of life, to question the status-quo, and to make a big splash.
What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
The people that I work with - both in my department and across the University. I really care about what I do, and I enjoy being in a position where I talk to at least one person in every department. Knowing that I make people's work-lives easier and more enjoyable keeps me going.
Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
A couple ways: I often sport my Loyola swag (fleeces, umbrella, hats, backpacks) as I commute across the city. I get really excited and start pointing whenever I see the Loyola cab-tops. Also, I'm big on word-of-mouth and telling non-Loyolans about cool events, programs or initiatives we're working on.
Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
My greatest life ambition is to ride a moose.
