What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
My favorite thing about working at Loyola is the opportunity to volunteer. Our department has supported collection drives sponsored by The Graduate School, and I always look forward to Ignatian service days. It feels really good to physically work and get to know other Loyola employees in the process.
What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
My most memorable achievement has been working with several of my colleagues in establishing an Information Technology Services Green Team. We meet once a month to talk about, and work on, ways we can encourage our department to participate in the sustainability practices the University is pursuing.
What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
Loyola's mission, for me, means continuing to learn and becoming aware of and engaged in my community.
What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
My two boys are my biggest motivators. I like to think they see my work ethic and good humor as examples to follow.
Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
I show my Rambler pride by wearing the t-shirts I earned volunteering on Ignatian service days.
Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
People might be surprised to learn that I studied American Sign Language.
