What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
The people. I am committed to helping others and being a change agent for the university. The people here are knowledgeable and caring, this makes a great environment to work.
What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
I've recruited and on-boarded some of the most talented professionals to join the University. When I walk the halls here at the Health Sciences Campus, I can see the impact HR has made. There is proud moment daily.
What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
It's all about giving and serving. Preparing others to make an impact in the world, that is purpose. There is no greater mission.
What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
There is purpose in this role. Everyday presents a different challenge. I learn and grow daily. Helping others, motivating and encouraging its an everyday factor in HR.
Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
I represent with colors- the gold and maroon carries a lot of weight. My office has Loyola gear, and I wear Loyola gear. My 13 year-old daughter Cameron even wears the gold and maroon. We actively attend campus events.
Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
I grew up in the city. I attended Whitney M. Young High School.
