Advertising Creative

The Bachelor of Arts in Advertising Creative offers students the opportunity to earn a four-year degree and build a career-ready creative portfolio, all while developing a deep sense of ethics and responsibility in advertising. Advertising and Public Relations

The Bachelor of Arts in Advertising/Public Relations allows students to earn a degree in advertising, public relations or both. Loyola’s close proximity to both major agencies and the brands they represent gives students the opportunity to get first-hand exposure to the industry.

In 2020, the global public relations market was worth 88 billion U.S. dollars. By the end of 2025, the industry is expected to be worth 129 billion dollars.

Advocacy and Social Change

The Bachelor of Arts in Advocacy and Social Change prepares students for careers related to social justice. Students study everything from community organizing to lobbying to political campaigns.

Accelerated Bachelor's to Master's Programs

Accelerated Bachelor’s/Master’s programs allow eligible, full-time students to complete both an undergraduate and graduate degree in just five years. These programs provide a significant cost savings to students interested in accelerating their path to an advanced degree. Finishing both programs in five years, including both undergraduate and graduate courses during your senior year, equates to a lower overall cost than if both programs were completed separately.

Accelerated Bachelor's/Master's students can also take advantage of the Returning Rambler Scholarship for eligible programs, offering a 25 percent tuition discount for graduate studies.

Accelerated Bachelor’s/Master’s Programs Involving the School of Communication

Accelerated Bachelor’s/Master’s with Master of Communication in Digital Media and Storytelling or Global Strategic Communication

Undergraduate students working on a BA/BS in the School of Environmental Sustainability may be eligible to enroll in an accelerated bachelor’s/master’s program to earn either an MC in Digital Media and Storytelling or an MS in Global Strategic Communication from the School of Communication. Students working on a BA in the School of Communication (Communication Studies, Advocacy and Social Change, Advertising and Public Relations, Advertising Creative, Multimedia Journalism, or Film and Digital Media) may be able to enroll in an accelerated bachelor’s/master’s program to earn an MS in Environmental Science and Sustainability from the School of Environmental Sustainability. Environmental degradation is one of the most daunting challenges of the 21st century and therefore requires people with specialized training to facilitate and communicate impactful solutions. Loyola University Chicago's School of Environmental Sustainability and the School of Communication are partnering to offer unique interdisciplinary dual-degree programs designed to train environmental scientists to be better communicators and communication professionals to understand environmental science better.

The School of Communication’s accelerated BA/MS program is for advertising and public relations students who want to communicate messages on a global stage. The program combines the best of two degrees, the BA in Advertising and Public Relations and the MS in Global Strategic Communication.
