Eleni Prillaman joined the School of Communication in January 2015 as the General Manager of WLUW 88.7 FM. Prillaman works alongside the student executive staff in order to manage the daily operations of WLUW, Loyola's college radio station, which is comprised of student and community member DJs and offers independent music to 3-million-plus listeners in the Chicago market.

In 2020, Prillaman was promoted to Student Media Manager. As the Student Media Manager, she is responsible for the continued operation of WLUW, as well as The Loyola Phoenix, The Gull, Rambler Sports Locker and any future student media organizations and productions.

Prillaman attended Valparaiso University, where she graduated with a B.A. in Radio-TV Communication and was a DJ for the college radio station WVUR. In 2011, Prillaman received her M.A. in Communication and Leadership Studies with a certificate in Servant-Leadership from Gonzaga University. In the past, Prillaman has held positions at Radio Disney, Viacom (MTV Radio, mtvU), and served as the WPCD Radio Director and a Communication Instructor at Parkland College.

In her spare time she enjoys seeing live music and raising awareness about animal welfare.
