Maxime Louis
Becoming A Better Student and Professional
Maxime attended SCPS after earning an associate degree due to the advanced remote learning infrastructure and tight-knit community. Becoming an ambassador was a natural extension, stemming from a professor's recommendation based on active class participation. This role provided a fulfilling platform to connect with students, alumni, and faculty, fostering a supportive SCPS network.
Embracing diverse study techniques, particularly in Paralegal Studies, equipped Maxime with a deeper understanding of legal matters and practical skills for a law office environment. The challenging courses, notably in secured transactions, bankruptcy, and statistics emphasized the rewards of hard work and dedication.
"SCPS has made me a better student. There are study techniques that I was taught in courses outside of my major that I have used throughout my time as a student and as a professional."
The rigorous academic environment at SCPS allowed Maxime to build skills that translated into the professional realm working at a prestigious business law firm in Chicago.
As an ambassador, Maxime views this role as an opportunity to give back to the community that significantly contributed to personal and professional growth.
"The opportunity to convey to others who may be on the fence about whether or not they can or should embark on their journey at Loyola SCPS is a duty that I find to be a noble one."
