Cristiani, Nadia
About
Born in Pisa, Nadia Cristiani has lived in Rome since 2001, where she has taught Italian language classes at different levels with several American programs, including Cornell University, Rhode Island School of Design, University of Washington, DePaul University, Dartmouth College, Michigan State University, and the American Academy in Rome. She earned her laurea in Italian Studies from the University of Bologna and her Diploma for teaching Italian to foreigners from DILIT International House in Rome. At the JFRC, she teaches Italian language and culture to all levels, from beginner to advanced. She is also the Academic Internship Coordinator; in this role, she has devised and remodeled the internship program and promotes new partnerships with a large variety of organizations. She has developed the internship course syllabus and new course assessments, and she facilitates critical reflection and synthesis of the experience through the weekly seminar and a final e-portfolio project.
