A keen traveler, she has worked at the Italian Institute of Culture in Japan and at the Dante Alighieri Society in Australia, where she attained Certificate IV in Business after studying at the Central College of Sydney. She speaks English and Japanese and has taught Italian at the Pontifical Gregoriana University, the Pontifical College Pio Brasiliano, the CASD Italian Military Academy, and the International Pontifical College Mater Ecclesiae. She holds the DITALS II certificate from the University for Foreigners of Siena and a specialized diploma in Intercultural Education from the Scuola di Alta Formazione VIS.
