Midterm Grade Frequently Asked Questions

Session information is found on the Class Detail page.

1. In the Faculty Center, click on the class section in My Teaching Schedule area.
2. Session information is the third row in the Class Details section.
3. Refer to the deadlines section of the Midterm Grades Submission page for the specific deadline date for the class section.

1. Log in to LOCUS.
2. Click on the Faculty Center tile.
3. Click on the Grade Roster icon to the left of the class section.
4. Using the drop-down menu, enter the midterm grade for each student.
5. Click the "Save Midterm Grades button on the bottom right.

If you cannot enter midterm grades, it is likely because the deadline has passed. See the deadlines section of the Midterm Grade Submission page for each session deadline. Late submission of midterm grades will not be accepted. If you are sure the deadline has not passed, please contact Registrar@luc.edu for assistance.

Midterm grades cannot be entered after the deadline. However, instructors can communicate with the appropriate assistant/associate dean about students who are in academic distress as that likely means there is something contributing to that distress. Additionally, a CARE Referral can be submitted.

Midterm grades are required for undergraduate courses only. However, instructors who teach Graduate and Professional courses are welcome to submit midterm grades as well.
