Brendan Shea
Adjunct Instructor, Marketing
Brendan Shea has been an adjunct instructor at Loyola University Chicago for the past 10 years, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in marketing and communications. As a full-time marketing practitioner, he is also the founder and managing partner of Sunup, a branding agency that serves nonprofit, renewable energy, tech and B2B organizations.
Brendan began his career at Leo Burnett before leading several creative departments throughout North America. Prior experience includes Walker Sands, where he established the creative department; Strike Social, where he formed the marketing department; Sprout Social, where he led the content department; and Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business, where he built the internal/external communications department.
Brendan holds a bachelor’s degree from the Missouri School of Journalism and a master’s degree from the Quinlan School of Business.
