About
Dr. Sean Leahy is a distinguished lecturer of strategy and management at the Quinlan School of Business, where he also earned his MBA. With a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Strategic Management from the University of Missouri–St. Louis, Sean combines academic rigor with real-world experience to inspire and educate both students and clients.
Before transitioning into academia and consulting, Sean spent nearly 25 years leading his family’s distribution firm, which specialized in hospitality supplies. This extensive experience has endowed him with deep expertise in leadership, strategic management, entrepreneurship, family-business dynamics, and sales and marketing.
Sean’s research is driven by a passion for innovation, particularly its impact on organizational behavior and family-firm culture, making him a valuable thought leader in both academic and business circles.
