Fifteen students from Quinlan and Arrupe College of Loyola traveled to New York City for the Quinlan Ramble over spring break 2024.

During spring break 2024, 15 students from Quinlan and Arrupe College of Loyola embarked on a trip to New York City as a part of the annual Quinlan Ramble.

The Ramble provides students with a unique experience, allowing them to explore a major U.S. city, network with industry leaders and alumni, and visit prominent companies.

This year, Quinlan Ramble students visited and learned at:

  • Cerberus Capital Management
  • Coombs CPA
  • Financial Women’s Association Event: RBC’s Helima Croft Discusses Energy Markets and Geopolitical Risks
  • Instinet
  • McCann Global Health
  • Phillips Personal Health
  • United Nations

As part of these visits, students had the opportunity to connect with Quinlan alumni, including Birger Bueshing (MBA ’11), Andrew Coombs (BBA ’09), Michael C. Quinlan (JD ’93, MBA ’94), and Christopher Thomas (BBA ’03).

A transformative experience

“The camaraderie forged during this trip and the bonds formed have left a mark on me, as have the invaluable encounters with alumni and the profound insights gained into various career paths,” said Vibha Srinivasan (BBA ’26). “Engaging with professionals who embody the very aspirations I hold for my future was illuminating, yet equally invaluable was the exposure to paths divergent from my own.”

“Reflecting on it now, I couldn't be happier that I seized the opportunity to embark on this unforgettable journey and I would encourage anyone thinking of applying to absolutely do it!”
