Internship and Service Opportunities
Law schools will look for leadership and professional experience on your resume. While you do NOT have to have direct "legal experience," you do need to demonstrate engagement both on-campus and in the community. Consider getting involved in student organizations, volunteering, getting a part-time job, securing an internship, and/or a research opportunity during your time at Loyola. Remember, "gap years" can be an opportunity to expand your professional experience, which often strengthens a law school application. Read below for resources to get involved and gain experience:
