Alan R. Gitelson
About
Professor Gitelson teaches and conducts research in the areas of political parties and elections, interest groups, civic education/civic engagement, and political psychology and socialization. He has published in the Journal of Politics, Publius, Polity, Policy Studies Review, Political Methodology, and The Western Political Quarterly and has co-authored the books American Political Parties: Stability and Change, American Elections: The Rules Matter and American Government (10th Edition). He co-edited the book Public Policy and Economic Institutions and is a contributing editor to the Encyclopedia of Political Parties and Elections.
