Fr. Rafael Moreno, SJ

Rafael Edmundo Moreno Villa, SJ is a Mexican Jesuit that has been helping vulnerable migrant individuals since the year 2000. He is currently the Coordinator of the Jesuit Network with Migrants in Central America and North America. He previously served as the Director of the Jesuit Service with Migrants in México and was the Founder and Director of the Jesuit Network with Migrants in Latin America and the Caribbean. Fr. Rafael Moreno, SJ has also coordinated the Global Ignatian Incidence on Migration Network and was a Member of the Directors Board of Housing for Migrants in Tierra Blanca, Veracruz.

He obtained as Graduate’s Degree in Philosophy from the Universidad Centro Americana, José Simeón Cañas de El Salvador, and a Graduate’s Degree in Theology from the Colegio de Estudios Teológicos de la Compañía de Jesús in Mexico. Fr. Rafael Moreno, SJ completed his Postgraduate studies in Philosophy at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome.
