Exploring Faces with Young Children: Ginsburg Solomon Schechter Early Childhood Center
November 20, 2014–January 18, 2015
This exhibition was inspired by RACE: Are We So Different?—an exhibition at the Illinois Holocaust Museum—and by the knowledge that the human face is understandable to young children. The pre-school children at Ginsburg Solomon Schechter Early Childhood Center used colorful paints and found materials to create alluring paintings and collages that answer the question, “What do we know about faces?” The children sang as they worked.
