Lisa Sandlow

About

Lisa Sandlow is a lawyer, educator, mediator, and arbitrator. After 25 years of advocating for commercial clients in Big Law and Boutique Law, Lisa found her passion in conflict resolution. She received her certificate of mediation from the Center for Conflict Resolution in 2014. Lisa has obtained additional training in divorce, elder law, and on-line mediation; mediating hundreds of diverse cases in all types of court referred and private mediations. Lisa routinely arbitrates disputes for FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and the Cook County Court system.

Along with assisting parties to resolve their disputes, Lisa trains new mediators and law students through the Center for Conflict Resolution and Northwestern University School of Professional Studies. Lisa works closely with new mediators in a three month long mentoring process qualifying them to mediate in the Cook County Court system.

Lisa served as an adjunct professor with Roosevelt University in their Masters of Arts in Conflict and Mediation program. Currently, as an adjunct professor with The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Lisa develops and teaches coursework in Mediation and Forensic Psychology and the Psychology of Conflict in masters and PhD programs. Lisa received her Juris Doctor cum laude from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in history magna cum laude from The University of Texas.
