About
Jennifer Dixton is Assistant Chief of the Competition Policy & Advocacy Section and Special Counsel for Policy & Intellectual Property for the Antitrust Division, United States Department of Justice. She is teaching at Loyola School of Law in her personal capacity.
Ms. Dixton joined the Division in 2004, where she has also served as a Trial Attorney and Attorney Advisor. Ms. Dixton has worked on a variety of civil and criminal antitrust investigations and policy and appellate matters. Ms. Dixton currently focuses on the intersection of antitrust law and intellectual property rights, as well as antitrust compliance. Ms. Dixton was awarded the Assistant Attorney General’s Honorary Award in 2021 for her work on the COVID-19 Antitrust Advising Team and the Assistant Attorney General’s Award of Distinction in 2012 and the Internal Revenue Service Excellence Award in 2014 for her work on the municipal bond investigation.
