Matthew J. Adair

About
Matthew J. Adair is an attorney at Cooney and Conway, where he specializes in cases involving asbestos related illnesses, including mesothelioma, lung cancer, and asbestosis. In addition to his asbestos work, he has experience across a broad range of civil trial matters, including product liability, construction negligence, premises liability, and motor vehicle negligence. Prior to joining Cooney and Conway, Mr. Adair was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Terrence J. Lavin of the Illinois Appellate Court.
Mr. Adair is Loyola’s Moot Court Program Director, where he teaches the honors course associated with Loyola’s nationally-ranked moot court program. In conjunction with Loyola's Center for Advocacy, he works to promote and advance the mission of Loyola's moot court program. Mr. Adair coaches the Jessup International Law moot court team and has taught Appellate Advocacy since 2011. Mr. Adair also serves on Loyola's Alumni Board of Governors.
