Career Services Statement of Support
The Office of Career Services team stands in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement and the SBA, BLSA, and other student organizations in supporting the protesting of racial injustice in our city, nation and world. We acknowledge and denounce the systemic forms of discrimination that continue to marginalize underrepresented and underserved students and alumni.
We are re-committing ourselves to the principles of anti-racism and anti-oppression in all facets of career development including career education, advising, programming and employer relations. Each of us is dedicated to supporting all students and affirm our commitment to educating employers about the principles of diversity, equity and inclusion.
We promise to work hard to make racial justice a reality for all Loyola law students and will engage in a dialogue with students about how to best support them in the work they are called to do. We are here for you.
We encourage you to also read the main law school's statement here.

How to Handle Workplace Discrimination
Workplace discrimination occurs in many different ways. There are federal laws that prohibit discrimination against individuals on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, disability, pregnancy, and age. Employers are responsible for complying with the law, but it is important that you know and protect your rights.
Illegal Interview Questions
Did you know that it is against the law for employers to ask you certain questions in a job interview? To learn more about what topics are off-limits and what to do if you are asked about them, see "Handling Inappropriate Interview Questions."
Discrimination in the Workplace
