Nancy J. Anderson

Ms. Anderson retired in October 2012 from a long career at Microsoft Corporation as Corporate Vice President, Deputy General Counsel. In this position she led the work of 400 employees in over 40 locations worldwide.   She currently works as a part-time consultant as a coach and mentor to senior professionals in a corporate environment. She is a Member of the Board of Trustees, St. Olaf College, Northfield Minnesota as well as a Member of the Board of Advisors, Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights, Washington, D.C. She is also a Writer on Workplace Issues (Nancyand.com Blog in development), and Historical Fiction (“Verdi’s Flame” a work of fiction in development). Prior to her career at Microsoft, she held positions at Eptaconsors SpA, Allstate Insurance Company and was a partner of the Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland law firm.

Ms. Anderson holds a J.D. cum laude degree from Harvard Law School and a B.A. summa cum laude degree in mathematics and history from St. Olaf College. She is a dual citizen of the United States and Italy.
