Megan (Meagher) Cederoth
Megan holds a BA in History from Loyola University Chicago (2015) and an MA in Divinity from the University of Chicago Divinity School (2018). Her academic background in religious studies, history, and languages, and her commitment to upholding the dignity of all persons has directly informed her career in refugee resettlement and humanitarian protection. She has served as a Refugee Resettlement Director with a Catholic non-profit and a Program Manager with the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, supporting its national network of resettlement agencies. She currently serves as a Foreign Affairs Officer with the U.S. State Department.
Megan joined the Mundelein College & Gannon Scholar Alumnae Board in the summer of 2024. She is extremely grateful to the Gannon Scholars Program for the opportunities it provided her while an undergraduate to advance in leadership, research, and service alongside a diverse community of women leaders, all of whom shared deep commitments to academic excellence and the pursuit of social justice. She is honored to have the opportunity to give back to the Gannon Center and help carry forward the legacy of Mundelein College with other past, present, and future Gannon Scholars.
