Why are you looking forward to being a Gannon Scholar?
I am looking forward to being a Gannon scholar because it will surround me with intellectual conversations on issues affecting vulnerable people worldwide. It will allow me to build support for the under-researched areas of women’s health, including diseases like endometriosis and practices like FGM. As well as granting space to explore where faith, health, and culture intersect within Somalia and the greater African diaspora.
