Update on the University Budget

The Loyola University Chicago Board of Trustees has approved the 2025-2026 operating and capital budget. The budget includes an undergraduate tuition rate and mandatory fee increase of 4.4%. This increase will bring Loyola’s annual full-time undergraduate tuition to $54,530. Tuition for most graduate programs will also increase by 4.4 percent. The budget also includes just under $323 million of university financial assistance to our students, an increase of $19 million (+6.2 percent) from the current year and a 22.6 percent increase over the past three years. This increase exemplifies our ongoing pledge to financially support our students in helping keep Loyola affordable.

To reduce the risks of data loss, Loyola University Chicago will begin moving some of its documents and forms that deal with sensitive data to a more secure location. In the coming weeks, some of these forms on the HR and Finance webpages will be updated to require a Loyola login via UVID and password to access.
