A Values-Centered Approach to Difficult Dialogues Interview Series
This interview series invites LUC colleagues from different offices around campus into the conversation concerning “difficult dialogues,” also called, “civil discourse.” Listen as these interlocutors hold multi-part discussions, navigating applicable, values-centered strategies toward handling difficult dialogues and conflict in university spaces. Consider, alongside them, questions surrounding the purpose of dialogue, disagreement, civil discourse, and values-centered approaches both in the personal and in the context of Jesuit education.
Description: This is the first of some truly wonderful conversations between LUC colleagues Justin D. Wright (Anti-Oppressive Pedagogies Specialist, FCIP), Willie Gore (Assistant Dean of Students - Conflict Resolution Services, Office of the Dean of Students), and Lauren Schwer (Director of Ignatian Spirituality, Mission Integration).
