Records Requests

Requesting Release or Review of Student OEC Records

Students seeking to release their conduct/disciplinary records at Loyola to a third party (such as another school to which they are applying) or to review these records themselves should complete a conduct check request form to the Student Rights, Responsibilities, and Conflict Resolution team of the Office of the Dean of Students. A staff member in the Office of the Dean of Students will follow up to arrange a Zoom meeting, in-person meeting, or phone call to review your conduct record and answer any questions you may have about your record. This is the best way for most students to get a straightforward understanding of what a student's "conduct record" entails.

Additionally, students seeking a more robust review of records maintained internally by the Office for Equity & Compliance can also submit a signed Permission and Request to Release Education Record Information to equity@luc.edu. Note that such requests can take up to 45 days to prepare, and may include redactions as necessary to protect the privacy of other individuals.

In both cases, students should note that written records will not be provided to students for personal review.
