Dr. Chamberlin is an Advanced Lecturer in English with a specialization in medieval and early modern literature.
Her recent courses include Studies in Shakespeare, Exploring Shakespeare, Exploring Drama, Renaissance Literature, Interpreting Literature: Form and Transformation, Writing Responsibly, and Business Writing.
She is currently working on a book project titled Interpreting Legal Personhood in Animal Literature of the Middle Ages (under contract with the Ohio State University Press). Her academic research focuses on the intersection of medieval animal literature and concepts of legal personhood during a period of linguistic and legal transition in England.
