Jeffery Hart is the Operations and Concert Manager for the Department of Fine and Performing Arts. Mr. Hart is an arts administration professional with 20 years of experience in multiple genres. He has a proven track record in the areas of concert production and programming; budget development and reconciliation; tour planning and execution; marketing, advertising, and promotions; special event planning and execution; and general administration. He possesses a demonstrated ability to develop internal and external relationships to further the organization’s mission and strategic objectives.
Previously, Mr. Hart held positions with Washington Performing Arts, The Shakespeare Theatre, and most recently, The Choral Arts Society of Washington (CASW), all in Washington, D.C. During his 13 years as Artistic Administrator for CASW, he was responsible for the operational and fiscal functions of the artistic department as well as producing all performances (100+), collaborations (75+), international tours (5), domestic trips (8), and commercial recordings (6).
Mr. Hart attended Central Michigan University where he majored in commercial recreation facility management (with a concentration in arts administration), and double-minored in business administration and vocal performance.
