About
Yasmeen Khayr earned her BA in Anthropology-Sociology, History, and Spanish and her MA in Sociology from Loyola University Chicago. As a former undergraduate and graduate research fellow, she will continue conducting community-based research as a project coordinator here at CURL. Her time at CURL has allowed her to engage in numerous research projects ranging across issues concerning early childhood services, sexual violence in Muslim communities, and domestic violence. More broadly, she is interested in religion, identity formation, and culture as it relates to American Muslim communities.
