The Hank Center and Loyola University Chicago were incredibly proud to present an evening with MacArthur Genius and the Man Booker Prize-winning author, George Saunders. Unsettling, insightful, and hilarious, Saunders’s stories not only entertain and delight, but also “prepare us for tenderness.” This much anticipated event celebrated Saunders’s novel Lincoln in the Bardo—through an evening of live readings, discussion, and surprises that pleased the gathered crowd no end. Also included was a brief segment devoted to audience interaction.
