In preparation for election season, the Joan and Bill Hank Center for Catholic Intellectual Heritage is proud to host a screening of the 1966 Oscar-winning classic, A Man for All Seasons. This searing biographical film based on the play by Robert Bolt dramatically recounts the last years of Sir Thomas More’s life. The film is an intense depiction of the personal integrity, bravery, and faith of 16th-century England’s Lord Chancellor under the reign of Henry VIII. The film will be screened in the Damen Student Cinema and will be followed by a discussion with Dr. Robert Bucholz from Loyola’s Department of History.
