Prior to arriving at LUC, Alastair spent time in several roles including Talent Consultant for a global firm; Communication Faculty and Director of Internships in Communication at the University of Minnesota (Duluth); five years in Seattle leading teams in the corporate training, career services and employer relations spaces; and previous experience working as a Client Manager for a financial services firm in the Bahamas. What ties all of Alastair's experiences together is that they center around helping individuals grow and improve their situations, often as it relates to their careers and/or navigating processes that can be stressful. 

Alastair has lived and worked in two countries, on both coasts of the United States, and in the Midwest. Exposure to numerous professional spaces in numerous geographical places has afforded Alastair firsthand experiences that help him advise students and professionals on a wide variety of things. 

Outside of work, Alastair enjoys running, biking, all things outdoors, BBQing, and spending time with friends and family exploring new places, activities, and food.
