Chené T. Weems

Director of Training and Quality Assurance, National Runaway Safeline

Chené has been working in the non-profit sector for 15 plus years with 10 years in social service. Chené is the Director of Training and Quality Assurance for the National Runaway Safeline. Chené has a passion for coaching, training, developing individuals, along with studying and educating others on DE&I issues. Currently responsible for developing, managing, and guiding the training program at NRS, Chené has jumped right in to help cultivate the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion journey that NRS is on.

She has served on several Diversity committees’ in the workplace, including at NRS. Her experience over the years has allowed for her to develop and present workshops on DEI, lead diversity initiatives through her involvement in affinity groups and diversity committees. As a certified senior professional in training and development Chené is equipped to develop curriculum and facilitate on various topics including DE&I, Leadership, Training Facilitation, Positive Youth Development and other Behavioral Health topics.

Chené is a mother of two, and an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. She spends time giving back and servicing her community through various philanthropic efforts.
